Privacy Policy

• Account info: your name, email, and how you signed in.
• Quiz answers: what you tell us during the assessment, so we can build and personalize your plan.
• Usage data: lessons completed, streaks, and how you interact with the product.
• Practice content: what you type into the practice tools and the AI chat.
• Payment info: handled by Stripe. We receive a record of the transaction and your subscription status, never your full card number.
• Device and log data: IP address, browser, and similar technical information.

• To provide the service: your plan, lessons, progress, and AI practice.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send you transactional email (receipts and account notices).
• To send you marketing email, only with your consent, which you can withdraw anytime.
• To improve the product and keep it secure.

When you use the in-lesson AI practice, the text you enter is sent to our AI provider (via OpenRouter) to generate a response. Don't paste anything you wouldn't want processed by a third-party AI service.

We share data only with the service providers that help us run Adaptiv, each bound to protect it:

• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription billing (US / global).
• Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage (EU or US region).
• Vercel — Application hosting and content delivery (Global edge).
• Cloudflare — DNS, caching, and bot protection (Global edge).
• OpenRouter — AI model routing for in-lesson practice (US / global).
• Resend — Transactional email (receipts, account email) (US).
• Loops — Lifecycle and marketing email (US).
• PostHog — Product analytics (EU region).
• Google Analytics — Website and advertising analytics (US / global).
• Sentry — Error monitoring (US).

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting needs. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see your rights below).

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and object to certain processing. Email privacy@adaptiv.example and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to meet legal obligations, with your consent (marketing and non-essential cookies), and for our legitimate interests in running and improving Adaptiv. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, email privacy@adaptiv.example.

Adaptiv is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, email privacy@adaptiv.example and we'll remove it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States. We rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers where the law requires them.

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. You control non-essential cookies through the consent banner and your account.
